Historic pension agreement announced

On February 1, ATA President Frank Bruseker (left) and Minister of Education Ron Liepert announced the achievement of the pension agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the government of Alberta. The announcement marked the completion of collective agreements in 62 bargaining units across Alberta. Earlier in the week, ATA members voted 97.5 per cent in favour of ratifying the agreement.
