Drum roll please

The Alberta Band Association has honoured the band directors of three schools. Jeff Hiley, Band Director at A. E. Cross School in Calgary, was awarded the Keith Mann Young Band Directors’ Award. The Vondis Miller Legacy Award went to Doug Scales, Band Director at Gilbert Paterson Middle School in Lethbridge. Rob Speers, Band Director at Harry Ainlay School in Edmonton, received the Elkhorn Award. The Alberta Band Association is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
