Future stewards of the earth

Students from Jasper Junior-Senior High School in Jasper investigate an icefall as part of the school’s innovative "Stewardship of Jasper National Park and Outdoor Skills" program. The program introduces Grade 10 students to environmental issues, engages them in their community and creates future ambassadors for Jasper National Park. In recognition of the program, the school received the ATA’s School Award of Excellence in the annual School–Community PR Awards Program. David Stewart of Rosary Separate School in Manning received the Teacher Award of Excellence. For the complete story, see Communities are real winners in anual awards program
