Today’s topic: How should workers’ rights be protected in Alberta?

The deadline is fast approaching for the Parkland Institute’s essay contest. Students in high school are invited to enter the Parkland Institute’s essay contest and answer the following question: "How should workers’ rights be protected in Alberta?" Students are free to write about any aspect of labour legislation or workers’ rights. The high school student of the best essay will receive $500 and a chance to be published in AlbertaViews magazine. Educators are encouraged to assign the essay as class work.
