The 2014 colloquium featured keynote presentations from Dr. Michael Rich, a Harvard Medical School professor who specializes in the effects of media and digital technologies on the health of children, and Dr. Valerie Steeves, a professor from the University of Ottawa who is an expert on the effects of media and network technologies on young people’s privacy and social relationships. Around 125 delegates attended the colloquium, which was streamed across Canada and in some parts of the United States, Spain, and Indonesia.
