Sweet!
Harry Ainlay High School, in Edmonton, held a Junior High Leadership Conference on November 8. Pictured here, a cotton-candy covered volunteer hands out some of the sticky stuff to a conference delegate. Participants also enjoyed face painting, henna tattooing, photo sessions, dancing and movies at the conference reception. More than 400 students from 26 schools across Alberta exchanged leadership ideas and built friendships. The theme of the conference was “Lights, Camera, Leadership.” Motivational speaker Keith Hawkins spoke to students on leadership, hope, honour and respect.
