“Truth and Lies: Trust me”

In partnership with the City of Edmonton and founding sponsor Capital Power Corporation, the University of Alberta presents Festival of Ideas 2010: “Truth and Lies: Trust Me.” From November 17–21, 2010, join well-known and provocative writers, scientists, public intellectuals and performing artists as they explore distinguishing truth and lies in contemporary society. The program events will unfold in various venues in downtown Edmonton, including the Winspear Centre, Citadel Theatre, Edmonton Public Library, City Hall, CBC Atrium and Telus World of Science. Events are also planned in Calgary, Camrose and Grande Prairie.Come and be challenged by five stimulating days of learning and discovery through engaging multidisciplinary panels, ­readings, presentations and performances.
