Calgary Mayor’s Environment Expo
The Mayor’s Environment Expo runs June 7 to 9 in downtown Calgary. The event aims to inspire students and families to take simple actions to protect the environment at home, work and school. Youth from kindergarten to Grade 9 can experience hands-on learning about local environmental issues through fun and interactive exhibits, performances and workshops. Local schools also present on what they are doing to become the environmental stewards of tomorrow, enabling youth to learn from one another.
Online registration for workshops and performances opens April 5 at Calgary.ca/mee. Contact Michael Gray at (403) 268-8887 or Michael.Gray3@calgary.ca for more information.
