On September 21, International Day of Peace, a special event took place at Londonderry Junior High School, in Edmonton. During lunch break, staff and students participated in a drum circle led by Lucas Coffey of drumAdrumDRUM (www.drumadrumdrum.com). The drum circle began with everyone jamming to their own beat on drums, then the real fun started. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by participants were contagious, and by the end of the lunch period, students and teachers were playing and chanting together.
