The celebration of Terry Fox at Kate Andrews School, in Coaldale, featured apple bobbing, sack races and a BBQ. But by far the most popular event was the teacher dunk tank (with students, anyway!). Featured here, Jason Schilling, teacher and district representative for South West, was one of a number of teachers who sacrificed their dignity and dry clothes to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research. Students and staff exceeded their fundraising goal of $450 ($1 per person in the school) by raising $955—and continued hope that a cure for cancer will be found.
