On February 5, 2010, a hearing committee of the Professional Conduct Committee, established under the
Teaching Profession Act, found that Steven Begrand engaged in unprofessional conduct. The hearing committee ordered that Begrand’s membership in the Alberta Teachers’ Association be suspended until February 4, 2011.
