You have the power to make young people in your community safer. The Red Cross in Calgary is seeking retired teachers who are energetic, caring and committed volunteers to become Prevention Educators for its RespectED: Violence and Abuse Prevention program. Do you want to help create safe environments for children and youth? Are you available during the weekdays and live in Calgary and surrounding areas? Volunteer on our team and you will receive 35 to 70 hours of training and certification to deliver abuse prevention workshops in local schools. Training starts in September.
